Owens Community College hosted Fall Fest this past Wednesday, welcoming students to the fall semester.
There were multiple activities for students to participate in, with a dunk tank and axe throwing station being standouts. Also present was a food truck serving wraps and refreshments for free to anyone who signed in at the registration table.
Many tables representing both services and businesses in the local area as well as Owens related organizations were present, allowing students to further invest themselves in life here on campus.
One student, Justin Acree, a first-year business student, shared his experience at the event.
“I came today mostly for the food, but I also wanted to go with my friends. I think if Owens had another event like this I would definitely go again.”

The Toledo campus is constantly holding events like Fall Fest, with each being better than the last. If you don’t want to miss any future events on campus, be sure to visit the full event calendar.
