The Owens Express women’s volleyball team continuously chews up and spits out their opponents like a team trying to make a statement.
The Express boasts a stellar 27-4 record, ranking them second in the NJCAA Division II conference,and in conference play they are currently 8-0.
Owens sophomore, Brooke Gyori, was named Ohio Community College Athletic Conference (OCCAC) player of the week. She has earned this honor two of the last three weeks now making it four times in her career that she has been named player of the week.
Owens hosted Columbus State Community College on Friday and St. Clair County Community College on Saturday along with an induction ceremony for the first class of Owens Athletics Hall of Fame.
