
Sara Nović is the author of the New York Times bestseller True Biz, as well as the books Girl at War and America is Immigrants. She lives in Philadelphia with her family.
On April 24th, author Sara Nović will discuss her book, True Biz on the Toledo-area campus and Findlay-area campus.
True Biz is a New York Times Best Seller that tells the story of Charlie, a Deaf girl, who has never met another Deaf person before transferring to a Residential School for the Deaf.

On April 24th, the event will begin at 10 A.M. in the CFPA Theatre (Toledo-area Campus). One of the event organizers, Jane Berger, explained when asked about the schedule of the event that “after her talk, there will be an opportunity for some questions and answers from the audience. After a brief recess, Nović will be available in the rotunda to sign books.”
No copy? “Bookmarks that come with a free book will be available at this time for purchase” for just eleven dollars, noted Berger.
All bookmark purchases made during the event can be accepted through cash or checks made out to Owens Community College.
Sara Nović holds an MFA in fiction and literary translation from Columbia University and is an instructor of Deaf studies and creative writing.
The Toledo-area campus not at a great time? Nović will make an appearance at the Findlay-area campus at 3:30 P.M. in EC 111.
