On Thursday, March 6, at the Center for Fine and Performing Arts, the Department of Creative Arts and Media with the American Advertising Federation Toledo, will host the Spark Summit, an all-day event with a sparking 20 plus sessions for focusing on the visual and performing arts, as well as artificial intelligence, internships, transfer and communication.
“The Spark Summit provides direct access to networking and insights from professionals who understand the evolving landscape of technical arts fields,” Michael Sander, Dean of the School of Liberal Arts, noted.
Two of the highlights of the Spark Summit will be the keynotes.
The first keynote is called, “Writing Accessibility and Inclusive for Diverse Audiences” from Dr. Becca Monteleone, an assistant professor of disability studies at the University of Toledo and founder of the Plain Truth Project.
The second is a panel discussion featuring the collaborators of the recent documentary film, “The Trail Fire of 1961: Toledo Firefighting’s Deadliest Disaster.”
