I am a student at Owens Community College, and enjoy having this opportunity to post my reviews on the Owens Outlook student newspaper website

I feel our student newspaper is really underrated, and that is because it is not as advertised to people on campus as it should be. I feel student media is a great way to get students connected, and learn about other people and activities on campus. I also feel it can inspire people to want to attend our school.

As a review and commentator, the student newspaper should also be a huge banner for student’s opinions, and a space for us to express our feelings about things, even Owens Community College.

Visual Storytelling student Scott Higgenbotham and Owens Outlook faculty adviser Lori King take a seat at the podcast table in the Owens OutComm Student Media Center.

The student newspaper represents what Owens Community College campus is all about. The more we can get people to talk about Owens, the more current students will be proud to attend, and potential students will want to come to our college to get their education.
